Where it began.
In 2019, after nearly two decades living and working in a beautiful part of northern Mozambique, we stood on the precipice of devastation. Cyclone Kenneth, with its raw, inconceivable power, tore through communities that had contributed the least to creating the climate crisis.
That moment was a turning point. Witnessing the inequity of the climate emergency firsthand, we became united in a belief: we had to do something.
